Apprehensive Elation
It looks like I landed a cool place. A very quick drive to my sister and brother-in-law's apartment. Around the corner from the best soul food restaurant in Seattle. Walking distance to shops and eateries. Trees! Quiet! Only 8 units total in the building. Black and white tiled kitchen and bath. Bay windows in the bedroom. Original hardwood flooring in the living room. A shared backyard with garden space. Laundry on site. Storage.
I've written the check for the deposit and have to wait until Monday for the final word. I know it's practically a done deal but still, I am cautiously optimistic.
It's weird to hold still after all the crazed activity of the last few days.

Oh, good! Fingers crossed...
I just knocked on wood for ya. I'll wait with cautious optimism too as you wait for the official word (since clearly I'm a bit superstitious about such things, particularly apt.s).
My fingers, toes, legs, and eyes are crossed for you, Sizz! Sounds like a great place. :)
Now, you just have to make sure U-Haul remembers your truck reservation. Don't get me started on my U-Haul experience.
YAY! I can't wait to hear confirmation.
Wooohoooo!!!!
I need pictures! Do the whole before/after thing. Bare and after Sizzle makes it home.
Everything's starting to fall into place! It always seems like such a process when you walk through, but I have a feeling you're going to encounter a bunch of great new people / situations / goodness. Onward and upward, Miss Sizzle!
Yay! (in a cautiously optimistic sort of way)
YEEHAW!
Bay windows. Hardwood. Garden. Need a roommate? I'd move to Seattle for that. (I've a weakness for bay windows.)
Soul food restaurant? Sounds just perfect! Congrats (or... good luck?)!
Keeping my fingers crossed, because that sounds like an awesome place. Sounds like your trip was fairly successful!
This is me. This is me jumping up and down in excitement for you! Good Sizzle! Good for you! I'm so tickled! Must.Stop.Now. (I gotta get in shape.)
