A Reminder

"To fully live an authentic existence, you cannot let fear rule. Taking the risk to be vulnerable or bold is worth any momentary feelings of discomfort. Love who you are enough to be who you are in all its complexity."

I just needed to remind myself of this- that I said this and felt this because it is true and I need to do this and I am struggling.

I'm a bit in overwhelm mode. Please excuse me while I take a mini-break today from writing out what is really on my mind.

Hope your mini-break gives you time to relax, because it sounds like you really need it. Everything will turn out okay eventually.

As much as I enjoy reading your posts, you need no excuse for a break. I'm not huge on entitlement but in this case, it's absolutely appropriate.

Thanks for this. It's a nice quote -- exactly what I need today.

Enjoy your time thinking things through

Remember to be gentle with yourself, the rest of the world will beat you up plenty without your help.

I scribbled that down on a sticky note and slapped it onto my monitor... I definitely need reminding of that more often!

Sizz, not sure exactly what's going on, but you're braver than you think. Take it from someone who has done a lot of moving: overwhelm mode is not unusual right about now. :)

I understand the mini break as I too have been dealing with conquering fears lately. Some days it is easier to figure it out in my head than admit it.

Thank you for the quote and reminding me of how I need to live as well.

What a great quote. I just added it to my file of faves which, incidentally, makes you the first blogger to rate a spot on the list. Very cool.
