The Haps & The Low Down

I feel like bullet points.

* I shall never, ever, never, ever plan a day so full of meetings like I did yesterday. It sucked hairy donkey balls. I barely got lunch. I barely saw the light of day. By the time the 3pm interview came around, I was c.r.a.b.b.y. By the time 5 rolled around, I was ready for that drink.

* Never check your voicemail in between back to back meetings. You might hear a shitty message from a (looney) disgruntled volunteer. It might make you question your soul. It might make you feel like throwing things. Personalize much? Yeah. (And yes, it is rumored he did suffer a brain injury. Does this make me feel better. Nope.)

* American Idol makes me sad. And now I have to buy Dumpling dinner because I lost our bet. I hope you like McDonald's! (And I am sorry for being a sore loser but I really wanted Elliot to win. Boo hoo.)

* I really need to apply for more jobs. That stint where I applied for 6 in a row, yeah, I hit a plateau after that. Bad Sizzle.

* There are only 6 weeks left before I move.

* Typing that made me feel kind of sick to my stomach. Ugh.

* Thank God for friends. For Rae and her sweet email. For Bird and her "I love you!" For Jen Jen and Supple and our AI nights. For Jules and Chlo for laughter.

* Today I am going to try to be grateful and not wallow.

I don't actually watch AI but was pulling for Elliot because he's from my hometown. I was there a few days ago and people had painted their car windows with "Vote for Elliot" and "Ride the E-train!" Even my reality tv-hating parents were hooked. It's a sad day indeed...

:-(

If you are only going to treat Dumpling to McDonalds, I think at least you should have them supersize it. :)

I was so sad when Elliott got booted! I had a moment of hope when I saw how close the numbers were (I was thinking maybe they'd keep all three of them for the finals, just to mix things up)...and then him and his mom were all cute and sad, but grateful...and Paula - drunk as ever - was predictably crying...ugh.

We are NOT going to McDonalds.

If I took YOU to McDonalds, I'd never hear the end of it...

I want Taylor to win...but felt really bad for poor Elliott. Don't question your soul. Ever. It is perfect!

I love the bullets. You know why you did that? Because of all the meetings yesterday. You are dot dot dot like that now! Eh. It'll wear off by Monday.

But seriously, I love the bullets.

And 6 weeks. AAAAAaaaaaa!!! It will be fun.
