Positive Affirmation
When we take the time to experience ourselves the way we would experience someone we love and admire, we become our best companion and supporter on life's journey.
1. I make people laugh.
2. I give a great hug.
3. I am a strong and capable leader.
4. I am very organized.
5. I have a nice smile.
Phew. That was hard. This is going to take some serious contemplation. . .

You definitely give the BEST hugs. If you need help (which I know is not the point of this whole exercise) I'm your girl! I can think of tons of things :)
You're a good writer. You have a kind heart. You laugh at life. You care about people intensely, so much so that a stranger can see it. You notice little things. You're committed to being happy. You have a twinkle in your eye. You're brave. You're authentic. You're willing to change.
And I don't even know you. This should be easy. If it's hard I'm glad you're doing it -- you'll be delighted to discover what a fun companion you get to spend every day with.
That's a great five things!
I'm with Nicky and Alissa - if you need help, we can think of LOTS of good things!
Good start. Good list. I liked my hugs... thank you! {{{{hugs}}}} back atcha, Siz...
Good job! Keep it up!
At some point during the exercise, please remember to write that you are thoughtful, insightful and beautiful!
Hey, our minds were in the same place today. But, of course, you're more mature about the subject matter. Although I made fun of the positive affirmations a bit, I really do think they are important. It just feels so uncomfortable doing them. Most of us are not brought up to constantly say good things about ourselves. It seems almost rude.
Looking forward to one day meeting you and getting that "great hug." I may even give your ass a little squeeze for the luck o' the Irish.
Very good Sizz!..{{Hugs}}
i could come up with 35 positive things about you quite easily and i hardly know you!
keep thinking positive thoughts!!!
Here's one for you. You're a great sister.
Those are awesome.
Maybe you will find that after they are hard at first, it will finally get easier to see all the good things about you, and they flow like water.
Here's hoping.
I want a hug!
Let me know if you get writer's block.
my turn:
1) I have a hearty laugh.
2) I am a loyal friend.
3) I have nice painted finger and toe nails.
4) I can draw.
5) I have nice teeth.
um, i still don't feel all too keen though. good luck however with your project.
I agree with Neil, we're not trained to express good things about ourselves. Here I'll confess that after reading the first line of your assignment, my mind immediately asked: 5 different things every day? sigh. Looks like you've got a good start though, and just from reading your blog, I know there's a wealth of good stuff left to choose from.
You can't leave off charming, beautiful and stylish. You are SOOOO my date for the next cocktail party.
Caring, gifted, humanitarian, comes to mind.
Holy moly ... 35 things? Gee, I might come up with five for myself ... but thirty-five? I'm sure I'd end up with a lot of repeats.
The hug sounds very nice, though as a skinny person I always worry about broken bones. Myself, I think I give lousy hugs. Upbringing and all that. Remember "Wedding Crashers" and Vince Vaughn's reference to the kiss with the butt thrust out and so on? That's my hug - sort of touching but not. Unless I'm drunk, then it becomes inappropriate.
Must work on that.
If you're looking for things to add to your list you can always throw in "good e-mail replies and blog comments." I think that's worth something.
well, you can at least list 5 things that you like about yourself. that's one more. you seem to be able to delegate well. that's another.
You do have a great smile, Sizz.
