Answer the Tag or Your Karma Gets It

Mo-Pie tagged me a few days ago and in an effort to NOT get 10 years bad luck/karma, I am doing it. I don't know why I fall for those forwards and things that say stuff like, "If you don't do ______ and send it to 5 people within 5 minutes you will be cursed with bad breath the rest of your life." You get the picture. So here I am doing it. This meme is supposed to say something about your personality. If you want to play, follow the instructions and post it on your blog but I am not going to curse anyone in return. No one shall be tagged by me. Besides, I don't like to play favorites. You are all off the hook.

So here is what I was instructed to do:

1. Delve into your blog archive.
2. Find your 23rd post.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your blog along with these instructions.

And here is what I have found:

"I even enjoyed my 2 minutes of fame at the microphone. But I'm a ham, so that is to be expected, right?"

Good God. How telling is THAT? Well, if nothing else, I am consistent. :)

Other news:
*Hospice wants me to be a volunteer. I guess me possibly moving didn't scratch me off the list. Now I have to look at my schedule and make sure I can make the huge time commitment AND pay the $125 to get trained.

*I changed my comments to Halo Scan but now my typepad friends can't comment which makes me sad. I will fix it tomorrow when I get back to work. I can handle the occasional lame ass anonymous comment if it means I get to hear from you all. Sorry if you've felt left out.

*I have the day off today. It's a beautiful day out. I am going to sit by the ocean and not think about work. I am going to finish my book. Maybe I will even see a matinee if the mood strikes me. Or maybe I will just sit on my ass and watch Lifetime Television. The day is mine! Yippee!

"senses will decieve as i see your name on billboards...

awaken myself answering your call in my dreams,
and curse (thank?) you for all of this."

Let us know what you ended up doing! Inquiring minds want to know! ;)

Noooo. Don't use Haloscan...they are evil. Plus, if you ever decide to switch blog platforms and want to take your comments with you, it's a major pain in the ass. Trust me, I had to beg some guy to do mine for me.

I won't be doing this, not because I don't like the idea, but I went through and found the 5th sentence of my 23rd posting (which goes back to a blog back in 2001!) and the sentence was this:

OK.

I swear - that's not a joke. That was the sentence.

Have a wonderful day!

I love having days that are mine. Enjoy yours!

Bill's sentence is hysterical. I haven't been blogging long enough to have a 23rd post (sad, I know). I'm sure that if I did have one, my sentence would be quite telling as well.

Scary.

i wasn't sure i had made it to 23 entries yet, but i did and my sentence was...

drumroll, please......

'Really?!'

now, that's lame...

Mine was:

"And it is pretty important that I get to work tomorrow."

Telling? Not so much...

I want to point out that I do realize I posted two sentences when it asked for one but I think my sentence was first published with a grammatical error, hence using the two together in my answer.

Really though, I just wanted to say "hence".

Hee hee.

yes, you know can sit in your jammies all day and do nothing if you want to on your day off. i say do nothing, since you don't often do nothing.

For those of you left wondering, I spent a good part of my day off with my friend JB. He just got back from Wisconsin and it was so good to see him. Then I made yummy dinner and watched The Hours which is by far one of the most beautiful films/books I have ever seen. People say it's depressing but I don't think so. And I finished my book: Truth & Beauty by Ann Pachet. Great book!

It was a good day.

"so, rich, the girls and i went to the ex's house for dinner and i hoped to god drinks as well."

boring sentence. the one before was better self-deprecating flagellation...

Hi Ms Sizzle,
I am such a dope! I KNEW I had seen this on your site...but when I went to look and double check I didn't see it. Because it was in SEPTEMBER! (And also my connection was sketchy, so even checking was a little frustrating. Kept going down, whatnot...)

Anyway, sorry to tag you again - I did read this post! : ) - and thanks for being my cool new blog friend and so nice about it. :) (and when you know me better you can just go ahead and give me a hard time!:)
