Hottest Date I've Had in Ages
One of the top reasons I moved to Seattle was to be closer to my family, specifically to watch my nephew grow up. Every day Little Finnster changes and I cannot imagine not being here. He's such a bundle of love and smiles.
So Doke and Double B had a birthday dinner to attend last night and I offered to watch Finn. Hillz joined me and we ordered some Thai food, jointly figured out how to properly warm the bottle and traded off holding him when he got too heavy. How does my sister do this every day? Wow. Don't get me wrong, I love every second of it but that boy gets heavy. No wonder she's developed arm muscles.
Sometimes all Finn wants is for us to put on some hip hop and dance with him. So what if he can't walk or talk? This boy is gonna be one hell of a dancer. And maybe even a mixmaster to boot. There we three are, be bopping around the living room to Jurassic 5, Finn with a huge smile on his face and us two aunties joyously grooving to the music. It was a sight to behold. And the most fun I have had in weeks.

Hey, is he getting to second base?
Sounds like a great night!
kids do tend to take up all your time and muscle strength.
my problem is i have one arm bigger than the other due to the favoring excessive arm hold i have on moira.
Adorable!
Kids can almost always put things in perspective.
He is so adorable. I love seeing pictures of him. I bet you are the greatest Auntie!!! You are certainly the best date he'll ever have ;)
IT HIT ME! I know who you remind me of now! My Aunt! Well...a much younger version of my Aunt when she was in her twenties! She was wild and crazy and always my favorite Aunt when I was growing up!
YAY!! I remembered!
I miss baby dancing! It's why I call my nephew the boogie man, because he LOVES to dance.
Man, that sounds like an awesome night. And you sound like an awesome aunt. That little guy is so lucky.
That cat needs some butt kicking!
Just kidding! Adorable cat, but wow, the clothing eating issue would seriously upset me.... ;) Needs a behavioralist...or maybe....cat grass? Cat nip? cat something?
Cute cat though. :)
