Happy August
First and foremost: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! You are the best Mom, friend and confidante. I love you love you love you!
Saturday night Dokey, Double B, and I accompanied the birthday girl to Rubicon in San Francisco. Our friends, Stuart and Nicole, are the head chef and pastry chef. They spoiled us rotten much to the delight of our taste buds. We oohed and ahhed as plate after plate arrived at our table. Just when we thought we couldn't take another bite, Nicole sends out some of her famous desserts. I could definitely get used to dining like that! Too bad my high class tastes don't match well with my social service salary. I think I need to marry up. (JK)
In other news, my good friend Jenny Two Times went and broke her damn ankle on Friday. She'll be hobbling around in a cast for 6 weeks. If you've got some healing energy to send to her, please do. You can also drop her a "Cheer up Gimpy!" note on her blog.

Chair dancing...Take up chair dancing. Just make sure not to attempt complicated moves and fling yourself out of the chair. That sucks. *pretends that she has no personal experience with that* :0)
Oh! I forgot to say that that dessert looks divine. Now I'm going to have to have some sugar tonight. :) Sounds like you had fun!
