Paint & Parades

I got it in me to paint my room yesterday. Not first thing in the AM either. At around 3 Supple and I said, Why the hell not? and went to Kelly Moore for some paint. And $75 later we were in business. I bought too much. Dork. Money waster. On the way back home we were blaring MF&GG and three separate times cars with guys in them gave us a gesture like a thumbs up or a Rock On! head bang sort of thing. We got a kick out of that. Could be that we were singing louder than the cd? "Hello! Is it me you're looking for? I can see it in your eyes. I can see it in your smile. . ." Good times. The painting was fun and now I no longer reside in a yolk-inspired room. It still needs some touch ups but I love it. Thanks to JB and Supple for helping out. I hope the grub and Goonies was suitable payment for your company and fab painting skills.

Now I have to go to Gay Pride and march in the parade (more on why I hate parades tomorrow). And later today, I get to hang out with my mom and sister in Monterey sipping margaritas. That more than makes up for having to work on a Sunday.

P.S. Maybe I don't hate parades after all?
