Dude, Where's My Car?

Today is my aunt Sharon's birthday. I drove to Monterey to have lunch with her and my Mom. My poor mother has been battling bronchitis for 10 days. It's a wonder she had any energy at all. I am sure she is currently napping. Zzzzzz...

So I went to do a little bit of shopping at the outdoor mall in Monterey. Got myself a couple of nice things, on sale even. Maybe someday you will see me in them but then you won't know it is them unless you ask. Anyhow, I went to the parking lot to get in my car to go home and couldn't find my car. No I wasn't on drugs. It's cuz I was looking for my crappy Honda Accord when that is no longer my car. Yes, ladies & gents, it is true. Ms. Sizzle BOUGHT A NEW CAR!

I didn't plan for it to happen but it's like falling in love, sometimes it just happens you know? There was a car sale over on Ocean & Water St. where a bunch of different dealers were showing their vehicles. Meagan, Mike & Jenny Two Times and I cruised over after breakfast at the lovely Santa Cruz Diner. We browsed around, even talked to a couple of salesman and then I saw it and I think it was love at first sight. I test drove it and loved it more. I suck at bargaining cuz it is often like lying and you all know I suck royaly at that. Thank goodness for my friends. Jenny Two Times played the role of my "Jewish Bulldog" and Christopher was my "Gay Dad". After some deliberation, it was mine. I am now the proud owner of a 1998 Honda CRV. Sweet! It is in impeccable condition with low mileage and a good sound system. Jenny Two Times and I proceeded to drive all around Santa Cruz showing it off to my friends. You'd think I had just gotten married, the way I was beaming. Yes, indeedy, Ms. Sizzle is a happy girl. I dare say, I feel like a bonafied grown up. It's seriously kinda awesome.

Call me up, I will take you for a ride. We don't need a destination, just some good tunes and good company. :)

Um can we compromise Tomato? How about we crank out some Sheryl Crowe instead of DG? ;) I'll head down to LA as soon as I can for a visit!

Well, only cause Deborah and I still aren't getting along so great these days... I guess I could be willing to compromise... besides, I think a little Ghost of the Dog would be best fitting...

We're getting along groovealiciously... OH WAIT... you are talking about me and Deb? Because she is a pain in my ass... It is more her mother than her, but still, she is an adult now and she certainly could've spoken up... she was supposed to star in the pilot of my TV show... until her mother wanted to make her a producer on it... it was a no go and I pulled the plug... who does she think she is? Belinda Carlisle?
