At some point, it just got depressing to be there.

May you win the lottery soon...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7861052.post-1138805989064516312006-02-01T06:59:00.000-08:002006-02-01T06:59:00.000-08:00I have loved your library posts but I have great c...I have loved your library posts but I have great confidence that you have the talent to post on anything and make it interesting.Garyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11104981732733112853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7861052.post-1138783187742097202006-02-01T00:39:00.000-08:002006-02-01T00:39:00.000-08:00I so relate.I once worked with the most incredible...I so relate.

I once worked with the most incredible, competent, amazing group of people. And after delivering - and delivering - and management started really going downhill, they all started abandoning ship. Understandably. But it was sooooo depressing to go through it.

I'm with ya.Kriscohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08099598535511829553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7861052.post-1138775154570712852006-01-31T22:25:00.000-08:002006-01-31T22:25:00.000-08:00As sue said, been there, done that. One of the problems with my current job is I'm at the exact opposite pole now - I work at home, alone and I am going squirrelly.

Which may explain why I leave so many comments on blogs. :-)

I have learned, however, that I have no control over the work situation. It will go where it goes and I'm not a factor in it, at least as far as the company goes. So I am much less invested in it now. However, it's difficult to have the same close relationships outside work simply because you don't get to invest the time. Work is where we live. Sad though that is.Billhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13626912199632170858noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7861052.post-1138766098924907092006-01-31T19:54:00.000-08:002006-01-31T19:54:00.000-08:00I want to post about mine too Sizz! My G leaves at the end of summer for law school and it's not going to be pretty. Like you, I'm proud and happy for her, but the loss of their daily presence, humor, strength... is overwhelming. Hang in there, Sizz, you can do this; but remember, if you don't want to, you can start over too.Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14702231605902566310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7861052.post-1138748446088004022006-01-31T15:00:00.000-08:002006-01-31T15:00:00.000-08:00Bummer Sizz.
