Thoughts in Action

I dreamt last night that I had secured a fabulous one bedroom in a remodeled Victorian replete with cranberry red walls, crown moldings, a washer and dryer, funky and fun neighbors and a beautiful, lush backyard that had fruit trees. We moved all of my stuff in and the cats got out. We rustled them back to a safe room but then the landlord showed up. A smallish man with a pinched face and an unplaceable accent, he seemed agitated. He was confused as he thought we were meeting to discuss the possibility of me moving in, not me moving in. Oops! I managed to charm him with my diplomacy skills and ample cleavage and the place was mine. Phew! Who'd want t unload a Uhaul only to repack it?

I've got housing on the brain.

I am going to make today a GREAT day. Why? Because I am embracing the unknown. Because I am allowing myself to be excited at possibility. Because, today, I am going to be who I am undaunted. And when I waiver in my faith in myself I will reread what I am now referring to as "The Cover Letter of My Life" and know that all those things in that letter ARE me and the job I am meant to have is seeking me. Believe!

Power of positive thinking people.

You're visualized it, that was step one.

Ah, the old "ample cleavage" trick! I know it well :) That place sounds startlingly like my dream apartment... except mine in inhabited entirely by single firemen.

It seems that just when I'm feeling negative and whine-y, you're posting something uplifting and positive to make me smile... so.. uh... don't stop that, kay?

And the melody of a thousand-voice choir swells as the sunlight comes down in soft filtered rays the birds sing and children play...

Sorry, got carried away in your moment.

It's a GREAT day!

I will not think of it as a dream, but more of a prophetic omen...

I love your "Cover Letter"...

Good thoughts to you!!!

I would probably have a much more positive attitude if I had ample cleavage to use as bribery. :)

Cool dream. I love that despite a possibly significant obstacle, it was easily overcome and the place was just what you wanted. Power of positive thinking, indeed.
