Irish Every Day

Putting my Irishness to the test:

Mudslide Shooter
1/2 ounce vodka
1/2 ounce Kahlua
1/2 ounce Bailey's Irish Cream

In which I triple the recipe. Mmmm.

I had to change out of my "Everyone loves an Irish girl" shirt because while making rice krispie treats, I somehow managed to get melted marshmallow on my right breast.

I can't stop laughing at this picture. Even though it looks like Dumpling and I are on a roller coaster, we aren't. (Rumor has it that Dumpling looks like his Dad in this pic. . . Is it true, Al?)

I love mudslide shooters. They are yummy.

Dumpling looks like someone's been pinching his cheeks in that picture. :-)

Do you have a shirt that says "lick me, I have marshmallow on my breast"?

There are so so many dirty comments about marshmallow running through my head right now, that I can barely restrain myself!

Tripling the recipe just shows your Irish - I'm so proud!

My favourite beverage for Irish occasions is half cider (like Strongbow), half guinness. First you put in the cider, then the guinness. And the pouring is ultra important!

It's not a shandy, but it's kind of like a shandy. I use to know what this was called but I've forgotten now.

What makes it such an interesting drink is that the cider and guinness mix slowly, as you drink, so it starts out tasting like stout and by the end has more of a cider taste and feel.

Anyway ... I love this.

Irish Car Bomb:

1 oz. Bailey's
1 oz. Irish Whiskey
1 can (or pint) Guinness

Pour the Bailey's and Whiskey in before the Guinness, and when you pour the Guinness, pour it s-l-o-w-l-y.

Then drink it fast before the foam curdles, and enjoy the buzz.

I prefer Mudslides, too, but this is Esso's favourite.

How many stains were on your shirt by the end of that night?
