Internal Dialogue

"It's not like I lead a dull life," I say to myself scoldingly.

"Then why don't you have any thoughts to post on your blog?" I retort to myself in a sassy tone.

"I'm busy! I can't be entertaining all the time. I gave that up in therapy years ago." I say, lashing out.

Oh dear god, I am talking to myself again. . .

(I don't really hate people who talk with their hands. Or else, I'd be hating myself. Which I don't. For the record.)

Oh, I'm the first...it's cuz I love you the most...

I talk with my hands. I hate it when I see people looking at me talking with my hands. Then my face gets all hot and I put my hands in my pockets.

This post made me laugh out loud. hehehehe! Go...be busy...I'll be here laughing. :)

Posts don't have to be amazing, just whatever you're thinking about at the moment.

P.S. - talking with hands is fun! It makes whatever you say more exciting. Unless you do it for every single word

I LOVE Toothpaste for Dinner! How funny! I've all but forgotten about that site - thanks for the reminder!

Let's make a pact. When I have nothing to post, I can come to your site and cut and paste something from your archives. And vice versa.

No one will ever know.

Only articulate, passionate people talk with their hands.

Actually, that's not quite true. I talk with my hands ALL the time and I'm the least articulate person I know. But my hands have a lotta fun.

People have mocked me for talking with my hands. But let's be honest, people who don't use their hands when they talk have nothing interesting to say, do they?

Hmm? :-)

Uh oh, you're answering yourself. :p

I heard it's okay to talk to yourself, but when you answer yourself too... ;)

As for talking with my hands, I do that.

I talk to myself constantly - just not out loud. The problem arises when you find yourself not only talking to others in your head, but getting annoyed with them when they don't say what you want them to say.

I also talk to myself. Usually when I'm working through something, like a new recipe or something at work. Luckily I now have my own office so I don't have someone looking at me like I'm crazy all the time now.

I talk while looking at my watch (kind of like using my hands to talk, but not really), it doesn't matter what I am saying... I tend to look at my watch whatever it is I'm talking about. I am not looking for a reason to leave or anything...

I just like to look at my watch. Sarah gets a kick out of it every time.

“I was going to go and get some milk today… (As I look at my watch), but I think we already have some.” (Sorry, I couldn't think of a better example)
